Tropical Storm Inday is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility on Saturday morning, July 21.

PAGASA says intermittent moderate to heavy monsoon rains will be felt throughout the day over:

  • Ilocos Region
  • Cordillera
  • Bataan
  • Zambales
  • Batanes
  • Babuyan Group of Island
  • Meanwhile, occasional light to moderate to at times heavy rains will be felt over:

    • Metro Manila
    • Rest of Luzon

    PAGASA warns that sea travel is risky over the seaboards of Central Luzon and the eastern seaboard of Northern Luzon.

    The gale warning is still up on Isabela, Aurora, Zambales and Bataan.

    PAGASA says the latest forecast track of "Inday" shows that it will not make landfall. It is expected to move farther away from the country and will make landfall on the southern part of China on Sunday, July 22.

    It packs maximum winds of 75 kph and gusts of 90 kph. It moves at 25 kph. PAGASA says it has slightly strengthened. 

    The state weather bureau said Tropical Storm Inday is far from the Philippine land mass and has no effect to the country. However, it is enhancing the southwest monsoon or "habagat" which is bring rains over the country.

    As of 3 p.m., PAGASA says the center of Tropical Storm Inday was located at 1,025 km east of Basco, Batanes.
