They held their nerve

Up against a raucous crowd and an imposing home record, the Springboks produced the goods in Edinburgh tonight.

Handre Pollard was excellent with the boot again, while also scoring what proved to be the decisive try following Jesse Kriel's early opener.

A solid night's work for Siya Kolisi's men, yet with plenty to improve on for next week.

Wales are their final opponents in Cardiff next weekend and we'll catch you then.

Enjoy your weekend!

They've done it, the Springboks win!

It's hoofed out of play and the Boks have won back-to-back Test matches!

Scotland knock on!

80' That might just do it! The Springboks win the scum penalty, which they will now spend the next minute lining up.

We're in the corner

79' And not the good one, as Scotland have a line-out ten metres from the Bok try line.

Just a penalty

78' Phew. Bit of a let-off after a needless charge at the ruck.

Scotland clear brilliantly thanks to Russell and they have three minutes to snatch victory.

TMO sticks his oar in

77' And it's Pieter-Steph du Toit under the scanner for a clean out from the side.

And again on the steal

72' This time it's replacement Thomas du Toit who snaffles possession.

Jantjies takes over the kicking duties and knocks it over. Hurrah! The lead goes out to six.

Yoink

67' Big Duane Vermeulen comes up with the ball from the ruck, cracking steal.

It's kickable... and it's Pollard's worst kick in months, miles to the left.

Three points in it, 12 minutes to go.

Cheeky!

64' Finn Russell has a crack with a cheeky drop goal attempt after Stuart Hogg's kick-chase is gathered and cleared by a combination of Elton Jantjies and Pollard.

It misses, but not by much.

We're heading towards the wire again

63' Three weeks running where anything is possible going into the closing stages.

Just over 15 minutes left in Edinburgh.
