Valdez got away with that punch behind the head last round after Conceicao was quickly deducted a point earlier in the fight. We'll see if that plays a role on the cards. It looks like Valdez is looking a little more desperate to get into a range where he can more effectively land his offense. Valdez comes forward tries a left hook to the head. Valdez falls short on a couple punches and Conceicao gets back to the outside range and works his longer punches, forcing Valdez to walk through fire to get into punching range. Valdez splits the guard with a little jab. Conceicao is fighting a very disciplined fight and isn't getting deterred from the pace he wants to fight at.
