van Heerden moving a lot to start this round, but Benn lands a big right about 45 seconds in and DOWN GOES VAN HEERDEN AS BENN EXPLODES AND IT IS OVER!!!
For the sake of typing a lot and quickly, I will mostly be saying "CVH" to mean van Heerden.
Benn coming out aggressively with his body language, putting CVH on the back foot immediately. Benn trying to corner CVH, who gets out pretty easily. Good little hook from Benn, van Heerden takes it and tries to fire back. Body from Benn, but CVH got a little hook in there. He's looking for his spots to counter. Chippy early, with van Heerden trying to make Benn make mistakes. Hook from Benn. Another one gets in. Right hand and left hook. van Heerden having trouble dealing with the explosiveness. Another hook. CVH throwing some decent right hooks of his own, too. He doesn't seem bothered by any of this. van Heerden with a nice little combo, going to the body. This is good stuff so far. Very energetic opening round.
