FULL-TIME, Barcelona 1-1 Alavés

Barça attacked and created three really good chances to find a winner but were unable to. Two points dropped against a relegation candidate isn't ideal, but the performance was encouraging in the first game post-Koeman.

GOAL, Barcelona 1-1 Alavés (Rioja 52')

Alavés equalize. Rioja goes on a solo run down the left, plays a nice one-two with Joselu and rounds Ter Stegen before finding the net. Excellent goal by the visitors.

GOAL! Barcelona 1-0 Alavés (Memphis 49')

GOLAZO!!! After a nice passing move down the left, Memphis receives the ball at the edge of the box and finds the top corner with a beautiful shot! What a goal!

SECOND HALF KICKOFF

Back underway at Camp Nou!

HALFTIME, Barcelona 0-0 Alavés

It's goalless at the half but Barça have played well and deserve to be ahead. The Alavés defense is slowly cracking, and Barça will get the goals if they maintain the same pressure.

Barça are forced into a substitution in the 41st minute with Sergio Agüero leaving with what appears to be a throat injury. Philippe Coutinho comes on in his place.

25 minutes in and Barça look good and sharp on the ball, and they could have already scored at least once. Encouraging stuff from Barjuan's side so far.
