Barça get a goal back through Frenkie De Jong who heads home a rebound from an Ansu Fati shot, but Ansu was offside at the start of the play and the goal is called off.

30 minutes to go and it looks like Barça's season will end on a bit of a depressing note.

Villarreal double their lead. Adama Traoré tracks back and intercepts a pass inside his own box, but his attempted clearance finds Moi Gómez all alone in front of goal and the midfielder fires home the second. Unlucky for Adama.

Back underway at Camp Nou for the final 45 minutes of Barcelona's season! 

Barça had possession and some good moments in the first half but mostly just went through the motions, and Villarreal were able to score with their only chance of the first half. If this wasn't the season finale, Barça would need to get a lot better and fight for the comeback, but it feels as though everyone wants this one to end as soon as possible no matter the score.

Villarreal take the lead. Dani Parejo plays a nice pass to find the run of Alfonso Pedraza who shows good composure in front of goal and finds the back of the net for the away side.

30 minutes in and Barça continue to be the superior team and have come close on a couple of moments, but they haven't created a real chance yet. Villarreal continue to play for the draw and aren't taking any risks.

This one feels like a friendly after the first 15 minutes, with Barça trying to play but not trying too hard while Villarreal are happy to defend and not concede so far.
