In another social post made today, Trump shared a number of private messages from NATO chief Mark Rutte.

In the messages, Rutte said to Trump: "Congratulations and thank you for your decisive action on Iran. That was truly extraordinary and something no one else dared to do." 

He added: "Donald, you have driven us to a really, really important moment for America and Europe and the world. You will achieve something NO American president in decades could get done. Europe is going to pay in a BIG way, as they should, and it will be your win."

Trump has, once again, taken to Truth Social, this time to talk of his 'great honour' at destroying Iran's nuclear facilities.

The president wrote: "Both Israel and Iran wanted to stop the War, equally!

"It was my great honor to Destroy All Nuclear facilities & capability, and then, STOP THE WAR!"

Donald Trump swore on live TV when discussing the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. 

It comes after Israel broke the terms of the short-lived ceasefire that had been agreed upon by the two nations. 

Trump claimed that the two nations had been fighting for so long that they didn't know what they were doing. 

He went on to say that Israel needs to "calm down" after they dropped more bombs on Iran following the ceasefire. 

Trump said: "Israel - as soon as we made the deal they dropped a load of bombs, the likes of which I’ve never seen before. 

"The biggest load that we’ve seen.

"I’m not happy with Israel. 

"When I say ‘okay now you have 12 hours’, you don’t go out in the first hour and just drop everything you’ve got on them.

"So I’m not happy with them, I’m not happy with Iran either, but I’m really unhappy if Israel’s going out this morning…

“We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f**k they’re doing."

The US President thought that he had managed to bring a ceasefire to both nations; however, he has since had to warn Israel to stand down from attacking Iran. 

In a post to Truth Social, he said: "ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS.

"IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!

"DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES."

Trump has sent a powerful warning to Iran urging them not to drop 'those bombs'.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump wrote: "ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION.

"BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES."

This warning comes following the agreed ceasefire between Iran and Israel which came into affect this morning. 

Iran has denied firing a missile at Israel after the ceasefire.

State media responded to the accusations denying the claims.

Only moments ago, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz issued a statement saying he has ordered the Israel Defense Forces to "respond forcefully to Iran's violation of the ceasefire with intense strikes against regime targets in the heart of Tehran".

Iran's foreign minister said previously that it would only stop its attacks if Israel did the same.

Iran has fired a new wave of missiles at Israel after agreeing to ceasefire.

This comes as per reports from Sky News and the BBC.

The IDF says air defence systems are "operating to intercept the threat" and is telling people to go into shelters and stay there until further notice.

Iran said it would only honour the ceasefire if Israel stopped attacks.

The IDF has now said that people can leave  shelters in northern Israel.

Local Iranian officials say that at least nine people have been killed and 33 people injured in an Israeli attack in northern Iran in the run up to the ceasefire now in place.

The governor’s office in Gilan has called the strike a “terrorist” attack on the city of Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh.

Iranian media reports say Israel was behind the attack.

Both Iran and Israel exchanged missile fire before the ceasefire.

The deputy governor of Gilan says 16 of those killed or injured are women and children.

Some media outlets are reporting that Mohammad Reza Seddiqi, a nuclear scientist, was among the dead.

The Israeli military has also just mentioned the killing of a senior nuclear scientist overnight.

Israel has officially agreed that the ceasefire Donald Trump announced late last night between Israel and Iran has come into effect.

Last night, Donald Trump claimed that a 'total ceasefire' had been agreed between Iran and Israel in a post on Truth Social.

Taking to the social media site, Trump wrote: "CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED!

At that time there was no confirmation from either side over the ceasefire leading many to question if Trump had jumped the gun.

However, Israel have just confirmed this morning that the they have accepted the ceasefire with Iran.

In a statement, it said: "Israel will respond forcefully to any violation of the ceasefire."

The Israeli government says it agreed to Donald Trump's ceasefire proposal after "achieving the objectives" of its attacks on Iran.

It added that the "immediate existential threat" of Iran's nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles has been removed.

Furthermore, it claims Israel's military "severely struck government targets in the heart of Tehran" during the last 24 hours, as well as "eliminating another senior nuclear scientist".

"In addition, the IDF has achieved full air control over Tehran's skies, inflicted severe damage on the military leadership, and destroyed dozens of central Iranian government targets," the statement adds.

Last night Iran launched an air strike on US bases in Qatar and Iraq in retaliation to the US attacking nuclear sites over the weekend.

Initial reports said explosions could be heard overhead in Doha as airspace closed across the region.

Videos soon showed missiles being intercepted.

Iran soon confirmed the attack, but later it would be revealed they had pre-warned the US and Qatar in what appears to be an attempt to exit the war and save face at the same time.

Trump described the attack as weak, but thanked Iran for the heads up.

Only a few hours later Trump claimed that he had negotiated a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
