In typical rugby, media-trained fashion, Lions head coach Andy Farrell gave a very middle-of-the-road answer when asked about who will be starting the Tests.
He said: "Of course you have thoughts, but again like I always say, you need to be open minded.
"There's just Hugo (Keenan) and Blair (Kinghorn) that's not played now.
"I think some lads today were desperate for another crack to get out there again.
"So a lot of lads gave put their hands up really well, and may the competition continue."
La Rochelle head coach, Ronan O'Gara, has been excellent so far on punditry duty with Sky Sports.
And when asked to put his coaching hat on and give his view on the best aspect of the Lions' win, he was adamant in his answer.
He said: "Very simply, I think Reds 12.
"Anytime you keep the score within 10 or 12 points, you win a Test game.
"People get carried away on the offensive side of the ball, but 50 percent of it is what you do without the ball and how you create those habits.
"Doing the simple things well, if you've got a really good defence, you've a great chance at winning Test games.
"It wasn't really, really good tonight, but once you put a big emphasis on that, which Andy Farrell and Simon Easterby will do, you've every chance at winning Test games."
Hugo Keenan has been ruled out of today's game due to illness.
Elliot Daly comes in in his place at fullback.
