Ruben Amorim issues brutally sharp verdict when asked about Dalot’s first Old Trafford goal

Man United were left ruing a missed opportunity after dropping points late on to West Ham, courtesy of a Soungoutou Magassa equaliser from a corner.

A positive from the match was that Diogo Dalot, United's no.2, scored his first ever Premier League goal for the club at Old Trafford.

However, the goal counted for only a draw in the end, and when Ruben Amorim was quizzed on his feelings for the goal, he got straight to the point.

Speaking post-match to Sky Sports, he bluntly stated: “Yes it's a goal but we draw so that doesn't matter.”

United missed an opportunity to go 5th in the league and currently sit in 8th-place.

They travel to lowly Wolves on Monday Night Football, with the best chance of all to bounce back, against a side that have only registered two points on the board so far this campaign.

Premier League boss admits he is 'weak in his position' after sudden dip in form

A Premier League gaffer has remarkably said he is 'weak in his position' after a sudden dip of form.

The midweek Premier League fixtures were rounded-off by Manchester United being held at home to West Ham, courtesy of a late Soungoutou Magassa equaliser.

On Wednesday evening, in the six round of fixtures, a top-flight team though alarmingly fell to their fifth consecutive defeat.

Beaten at home 1-0 by a fatigued Crystal Palace, Scott Parker's Burnley threw everything they could at Oliver Glasner's side, but had no answer.

That makes it five defeats in a row for the Clarets, who have now lost to West Ham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Brentford and Palace, whilst scoring only three goals.

And Parker pulled no punches in his post-match interview, being brutally honest with the situation at the club:

Roy Keane admits there’s a Man Utd star he still ‘doesn’t trust’ live on-air

Man United  first-half showing against the relegation-threatened West Ham United remained goalless, in a match in which Gary Neville said at times 'lacked intensity'.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka provided a brilliant clearance and Bruno Fernandes' audacious volley brushed off-the-post, but the Red Devils failed to break through past Nuno Espirito Santo's Irons defence.

Before the match, Roy Keane spoke on how he thinks Ruben Amorim is shaping up for the season, with the side still challenging for the top 4 charge.

Asked on the current XI, he said there's one player he still doesn't trust, despite the fact he's been at the club for over a year.

Opening up his United account with a goal on his debut v Fulham, some fans would say Joshua Zirkzee has improved massively since the start of the last campaign, but Keane isn't 100% certain yet.

Slot's worrying Liverpool verdict

Arne Slot has admitted that Anfield might be losing its fear factor following Liverpool’s disappointing 1-1 draw with Sunderland.

Slot’s side narrowly avoided a 10th defeat in 14 games with a late own goal to equalise, but Slot’s assessment of their current form, particularly at home, will concern Reds’ fans.

“It is clear that teams who play us think they can get a result,” said Slot.

“In the second half there was only one team that had the ball, but if they had one free-kick they could bring it to our half with a long ball, that is a danger with them.

“They have shown they are a threat with set-pieces. The good thing is we didn’t concede from a set-piece.”

With Daniel Farke’s Leeds beating Chelsea 3-1 last night, the bookies now believe Klopp has a 40 per cent chance of being the next manager sacked.

Fans demand Liverpool player leaves the club after ‘dreadful performance’ v Sunderland

Some Liverpool fans have 'had enough' of a player after his performance v Sunderland, a game in which the Reds fought back to draw 1-1, but will wish they had secured three points.

After going behind courtesy of a deflected Chemsdine Talbi strike, the reigning champions fought back courtesy of some Florian Wirtz magic, which was then later amended as a Nordi Mukiele own-goal due to another deflection.

However, with another two points dropped fans aren't satisfied with the performance of Ibrahima Konate, taking to X to voice their frustrations.

A first fan stated: "I can't believe some of the things Konate is doing out there"

A second supporter added: "Not sure what planet Ibou Konate is on this season but it certainly isn’t earth. All over the place yet again."

Real Madrid, who reportedly held a long-term interest in the player, have also recently removed their pursuit of the player.

Liverpool sit 8th in the league, a point behind Sunderland in 6th.

Liverpool 'enquire to sign' Everton star player in crazy January move

Liverpool have reportedly enquired to sign a star Everton player, in what would be the most crazy transfer of the upcoming January window.

A hugely controversial potential move, it would trigger the first transfer between the Merseyside rivals in over two decades.

Nick Barmy was the last player to make the move, after transferring to the Red side of the city for a £6million fee in 2000.

And despite splashing a record amount this season, Liverpool want more attackers, according to Foot Mercato.

They have reportedly 'enquired' over the availability of Iliman Ndiaye.

Ndiaye has only been at Everton one season so far, but provided an impressive return with 11 goals in 37 matches last season.

Just imagine the shockwaves if this transfer happened!

Premier League club owner accused of operating £600m gambling organisation to bet on football games

An owner of a Premier League club has been accused of operating a £600m gambling syndicated to bet on football games, as per The Times.

Some of the accounts used belong to Nigel Farage's former chief of staff, as per the report.

Tony Bloom, owner of Brighton & Hove Albion and Scottish Premiership club Hearts, controls the “Tony Bloom Betting Syndicate”, which from court papers is said to have agreed with George Cottrell, Farage’s former staff, to use his offshore gaming accounts “to place bets on sporting fixtures, predominantly football matches”.

The allegations are included in a claim that has been filed at the London High Court by a former employee of Starlizard, a betting advise company owner by Bloom through his syndicated.

In the claims, as per The Times, Ryan Dudfield alleges he is owed £17.5million of profits made by Cottrell's account as he introduced the political aide to the syndicate.

Despite joining the Citizens for £27 million in the summer, ex-Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford is said to be looking for a move ahead of next summer's World Cup.

Just weeks after the young English keeper arrived in Manchester, Pep's side capitalised on the opportunity to sign then-PSG keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Donnarumma has since taken over as the first choice, which has all but eliminated Trafford's chances at impressing England coach Thomas Tuchel.
