'Oppenheimer' wins Best Picture

To mark the 50th anniversary of "The Godfather," Al Pacino presents the award for Best Picture, which goes to "Oppenheimer."

"Oppenheimer" bested nine other films. It received 13 nominations, winning 7.

"Oppenheimer" on Sunday completed its indomitable march toward Hollywood's most important prize, besting "American Fiction," "Anatomy of a Fall," "Barbie," "The Holdovers," "Killers of the Flower Moon," "Maestro," "Past Lives," "Poor Things" and "The Zone of Interest."

Emma Stone bags Best Actress Oscar

"Poor Things" star Emma Stone wins her second Oscar for her "always surprising" and "completely original" character Bella Baxter.

This is her second Oscar since "La La Land."

"That's the best thing about making a movie, it's doing everything together," Stone said, sending a shoutout to her daughter who is turning 3 in three days, "My love for you is bigger than the sky."

Stone on Sunday took home the Oscar for best actress for her risky, no-holds barred female take on the Frankenstein myth in "Poor Things."

The 35-year-old Arizona native bested Native American Lily Gladstone in "Killers of the Flower Moon," Annette Bening ("Nyad"), Sandra Hueller ("Anatomy of a Fall") and Carey Mulligan ("Maestro").

The British-American filmmaker bested Martin Scorsese ("Killers of the Flower Moon"), Jonathan Glazer ("The Zone of Interest"), Yorgos Lanthimos ("Poor Things") and Justine Triet ("Anatomy of a Fall") for the golden statuette.

Cillian Murphy wins Best Actor

"Oppenheimer" star Cillian Murphy wins his first Oscar, also his first nomination, "for portraying the layers of humanity and in the process, becoming inhuman."

"We made a film about the maker of the atomic bomb, so for better of for worse, we dedicate this to all the peacemakers in the world," he said in his acceptance speech.

The Irish actor on Sunday won the Academy Award for best actor for his turn as the titular physicist in Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer."

He bested a stacked field that included four American rivals -- Paul Giamatti ("The Holdovers"), Jeffrey Wright ("American Fiction"), Bradley Cooper ("Maestro") and Colman Domingo ("Rustin").

Outstanding Musical Score and Best Song

'Wicked' stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo present the Oscar awards for "Oppenheimer" (Best Musical Score for "Black Panther" scorer Ludwig Göransson); and Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell for "What Was I Made For?" for "Barbie," their second Oscar after "No Time to Die."
