'Helen' about to exit PAR

Tropical Storm "Helen" is about to exit the Philippine area of responsibility, the state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 5 p.m. tropical cyclone bulletin.

Its eye was last located 410 kilometers West of Bacnotan, La Union (OUTSIDE PAR) (17.4 °North, 116.6 °East ).

Helen packs maximum sustained winds of 55 km per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 70 kph.

Tropical Storm Helen (International name: Pulasan) continues to move west northwestward over the Philippine sea, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 5 a.m. tropical cyclone bulletin.

Helen's center of the eye was estimated based on all available data 1,150 kilometers East Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon (22.5 °North, 132.8 °East).

It packs maximum sustained winds of 85 km per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 105 kph.
