Some malls in Metro Manila deployed sanitation teams to keep their facilities clean. They conduct regular disinfection and sanitation activities as form of preventive measures against COVID-19.

The malls are also conducting temperature scanning and enforcing the non-entry of persons with temperatures above 37.6°C. This is because fever is one of the coronavirus' most common symptoms.
