Silva offers a glove touch again and Mitchell is not having it. Right hand connects for Silva and Mitchell is dropped. Possibly a slip? Clean punch, either way. Mitchell in on a takedown, Silva with some incredible balance even as he was briefly taken off his feet. They're locked up against the fence.

Mitchell tries to drag Silva off the fence, but Silva ends up on top briefly. Another takedown by Mitchell, blocked. Silva has his hands low as he walks Mitchell down. He scores with a couple of lefts, then a step-in elbow. Mitchell cannot get this one down to the ground.

Silva whiffs on a big left and Mitchell still cannot secure a takedown. Mitchell could be in serious trouble here. Mitchell having success with leg kicks, but nowhere near as effective as Silva's power punches. Glancing left from Silva, then a kick to the body. He clubs Mitchell with a right hand to the head.

Mitchell takedown attempt and Silva counters with a ninja choke. It's in tight and Mitchell isn't getting out of that one. He's sleeping! Whoa!

No glove touch as Mitchell gets right in Silva's face. Mitchell cutting off the cage and pressuring, which could be the best strategy. Silva using good footwork to avoid being cornered.

Mitchell keeping distance with low kicks. Quick body kick by Silva, follow-up punch misses. Not much output from Silva so far, he's staying loose. Mitchell staying at the edge of those punches. There's a right from Silva that lands. Outside leg kick by Mitchell, that's been a good weapon for him.

Spinning backfist by Mitchell. Silva stuffs a takedown, they're back up to their feet. Mitchell with a couple of straight lefts. Silva looking for power shots, he scores with a counter left and points at Mitchell. Glancing spin kick from Mitchell backs Silva up.

Takedown by Mitchell, Silva hangs on for a guillotine, doesn't look like Mitchell is in serious danger. He's out of the choke. Silva goes for a ninja choke, but Mitchell pushes him to the fence as time ticks away. Jab by Silva.

Close round, but Silva scored the bigger shots, possibly.

The streaking Silva a -200 favorite, despite being lower ranked. Mitchell plus money at +165.
