Thunder make a big run to start the second half
Halftime: Timberwolves 72, Thunder 41

The Wolves continued to pour it on in the second quarter, as Game 2 resembled Game 6 of their series against Denver a season ago. The Thunder looked all out of sorts and the Wolves never let up, as they led 72-41 headed into the half.

Wolves coach Chris Finch went into his bench for a ninth man to start the second quarter and Terrence Shannon Jr. delivered with nine points in for the second for the Wolves, who went up as much as 26 as Anthony Edwards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sat.

The crowd gave Shannon a standing ovation when he checked out at the 7:50 mark and the Wolves up 46-20.

Naz Reid hit all four of his shots in the first half as the Wolves pushed the lead to as much as 35. He picked up his third foul with five minutes left in the half while Lu Dort also picked up three for the Thunder. The Wolves also got good minutes from Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who had seven points on 3-for-5.
