Fort Bragg (6-1) didn't get the support that fellow Bob Baffert trainee Speed Boat Beach (8-5) garnered at the windows, but he delivered the far superior effort.
Finishing powerfully, he reeled in pacesetter Champlin as Speed Boat Beach shortened stride and faded right out of it.
Update: Baffert in the postrace interview said that Speed Boat Beach bled a little bit.
